The study, published in Reproductive Toxicology , analyzed sperm counts, sperm morphology, and sperm motility in 52 men in their mid- to late 20s, anabolic steroids effects on the nervous system. Eighty-four percent of men in the study took oral, subcutaneous, and intralabular testosterone, and 49 percent ingested testosterone-replacement therapy (TRT) supplements containing testosterone enanthate (TE), a synthetic version of testosterone hydroperoxide (THO).
